Shanghai Advanced Institute of International Shipping holds the 2017 EMBA Graduation Ceremony
Create Date： 2018-06-13 Click: 1386600On December 16, the 2017 EMBA Graduation Ceremony of Shanghai Advanced Institute of International Shipping was grandly held at the Grand Mercure Zhengzhou Hotel in Pudong New Area. Huang Youfang (President of Shanghai Maritime University), Yan Wei(Vice President of Shanghai Maritime University), Yu Siqin (Executive Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Advanced International Shipping) and some teachers and instructors attended the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by executive vice president Yu Siqin.

In the speech, President Huang Youfang congratulated the graduates who successfully completed their studies. He hoped that everyone would make full use of the alumni platform at both the college and university level to continue to strengthen contact with their alma mater and classmates. He also conducted an in-depth analysis of current hot issues and developments in the field of shipping logistics and pointed out that as senior management personnel of enterprises, they should stand in the leading direction of national economic policy adjustment, the development of global supply chains and free trade ports, and the national strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative. Its layout has paid great attention to the transformation and development of the shipping logistics field, and has paid attention to the impact of science and technology on the development of the industry. He encouraged the graduates to use their vision and forward-looking awareness while applying their knowledge.

At the ceremony, the graduates expressed their gratitude to their alma mater through their self-directed mini-films and presented gifts to the college.

Wang Shengjun, a graduate of the 2015 class, spoke at the ceremony. He thanked his alma mater for their hard work and said that he would take two years of study to his future work and created more social value.
At the ceremony, four outstanding graduates were honored.
Finally, in the solemn melody, graduates took to the stage one by one to perform the degree awarding ceremony. Huang Youfang awarded every student a master's degree certificate.
