From March 6 to 8, professor Xu Yulin, a PHD supervisor from Renmin University of China School of Labor and Human Resources gave the lecture to the EMBA students on Strategic Human Resource Management.

Professor Xu believes management is a kind of culture and habits. He proposes “eight golden rules” of human resource management and summarizes a set of performance management systems suitable for China’s enterprise based on long-term practice. He views management is to control, and human management must rely on regulations and culture, besides, capacity and royalty are the key elements in choosing and employing personnel. His abundant and vivid cases help the students to know more about organization behavior problems in management, which are warmly welcome by the students.

Professor Xu Yulin is a senior consultant of Renmin University of China Human Resource Development and Counseling Center, a famous expert at strategic human resource, and one of the founding scholars in the field of human resource management and consultancy. He has published scores of academic monographs, books and papers on human resource management, organization behavior, management skills training and development etc.
