Mr. Yang Zhigang, an SMU Professor from the Department of International Shipping at College of Transport and Communications, gave a series of lectures to the 2014 EMBA students on International Logistics Management from January 10 to 11.

Professor Yang explained to the students some common practices about operating coordination, risk aversion, and application of regulations in the field of international logistics and transportations. His suggestions on how to response to the industrial revolution as a shipping enterprise have make the students clear and highly interested. Their feedback has showed a 100% satisfaction to Professor Yang.

As a national maritime trial expert, Professor Yang has long been engaged in teaching and the research work of practices and regulations in many areas including international container multimodal transport, international shipping, international freight forwarders, international logistics and international container terminals. In the meantime, he works also as an experienced trial expert in maritime courts.
