From July 18 to July 20, Professor Sun Lijian, the deputy dean of Fudan University School of Economics gave the lecture Theory and Application of Socialist Economy for the EMBA students of the class of 2014 in Shanghai Advanced Institute of International Shipping.

As a famous economist, professor Sun Lijian has conducted many research projects like the 10th Five-year Plan research project of the Ministry of Education, the national postdoctoral fund project and financial discipline construction project of Fudan University etc. He has also been interviewed by many famous media like Dragon Television, Chinese Business News, People’s Daily, Liberation Daily, Agence France Press, Jiji Press and Le Moonde etc.

Professor Sun Lijian has been long researching into financial market micro structure, comparative financial system, international finance, empirical financial theory and open macroeconomics. In the lecture, he introduced his latest research to the students, ie, the four New Cards of Chinese Economics, to help them to have new economic way of thinking. He also analyzed the development of China (Shanghai) Free Trade Zone and great prospect of the third plenary session of eighteenth Central Committee for the students to equip them with eight choices of financial service entity economic model. His lecture was well received by the students.
