On December 8, 2013, professor Zhang Hong who teaches 'International Economics and Trade' and is the director of Graduate Faculty of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics came to Shanghai Advanced Institute of International Shipping to hold a lecture for shipping finance EMBA students and superior shipping finance training class students.

The lecture took FTA construction as the theme. Professor Zhang Hong explained the key issues in FTA institutional construction and elaborated on the opportunities and challenges that FTA would bring to our national shipping industry. The students asked questions that they were interested in, creating hot atmosphere on the scene.

Professor Zhang Hong has studied global economy, international economy and trade for long time and conducted a number of scientific researches which were organized by Japanese Natural Science Fund, Ministry of Commerce, Development Research Centre of Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Commission and others. He successively won the honorary titles of Shanghai Shuguang Scholar, Outstanding Teacher in Bao Gang, Leading Talent in Changning District and so forth.
