Lecturer of the “Large National Medicine” series of the CCTV “Lecture Room”

Introduction:

Dr. Luo Dalun is a doctor of Chinese medicine diagnostics at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been working hard to promote knowledge of Chinese culture and TCM health. He is regarded as the leading figure in the new generation of Chinese medicine researchers.

Dr. Luo Dalun once founded the “Health Preservation Hall” section of Beijing TV Station as one of the founders and was the chief editor. The program has always been the flagship brand for health-related programs. Afterwards, he served as a invited member of the CCTV "Healthy Road" and "Healthy Progress". In 2011, Dr. Luo Dalun became the lecturer the "Greater China Medical" series in the "Lecture Room" section of CCTV's ten science and education channels. In March 2013, Dr. Luo Dalun recorded the second series of the "Lecture Room", "The famous doctor is such a famous person," and once again broadcasted on CCTV Science and Education Channel and received much attention.

In the past four years, Dr. Luo Dalun was invited by Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai China Europe International Business School, School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, Beijing University International Business School of BIMBA, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Zhejiang University Business School, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Business School and Shanghai University of Finance and Business School for their EMBA and post-EBMA students to talk about the application of “Tao” in Chinese learning in business management and lectures on TCM health-giving and heart-rearing knowledge which were welcomed by entrepreneurs. Dr. Luo’s course started with the understanding of physical and mental diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. He used the the Taoist Classics as a framework to talk about the three systems of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. Combined with cases of modern enterprises, he described how ‘’Tao” can make our business become harmonious without any problems. Entrepreneurs can learn from the wisdom of Chinese culture and learn positive energy to enhance their business realm.

At the same time, as a TCM scholar, Dr. Luo Dalun has been devoted to introducing the ancient Chinese culture to modern people. Therefore, he widely disseminates knowledge of Chinese medicine through the Internet, by television, newspapers, and other media, and has published more than 800,000 words of traditional Chinese medicine science books such as "The National Academy of Medical Sciences" and "Ancient Chinese Medicine - Legends of Seven Famous Doctors". He has written long-term columns in newspapers such as "Health Times" and was named "Healthy China 2012 Top Ten Fashion Figures."
