Professor Xie Huobao from Wuhan University gave the lecture Financial Management to the EMBA students in Shanghai Advanced Institute of International Shipping from January 16 to 18, 2015.

In the lecture, professor Xie Huobao explained the basic financial theories combined with the recent stock market hot issues in a simple way to the students.  Besides, he shared many cases about the listed company equity control changes with the students. He indicated that top managers including sales directors are to blame for financial condition of the company. The students said they benefited a lot from the lecture which they had thought to be boring but to be interesting and practical.

Professor Xie Huobao is Economics and Management School of Wuhan University Accounting Department professor and a PHD supervisor, a visiting professor of the EMBA program of Wuhan University, Shanghai Maritime University, Zhejiang University etc. He is also an independent director of many companies like Zhejiang Semir, Humanwell Healthcare, Hankou Bank etc. Professor Xie has made remarkable achievements in the fields of accounting information quality and financial risk management.
